Iowa Elites (IAElites.com) posted a long senior-season mixtape of University of Kentucky basketball signee Tyler Ulis last week that shows the full, entertaining range of shooting, passing and dribbling of the 5-9 point guard from Chicago Heights, Ill. Check it out below.
Pat Disaboto of SouthtownStar.com – an affiliate of the Chicago Sun-Times – also wrote a glowing column about Ulis, headlined: “Tyler Ulis is an unstoppable force” that you can read here about his 40-point game for Marian Catholic (27-2) on Tuesday in a sectional playoff victory.
Disaboto wrote of Ulis:
“I’ve run out of adjectives to adequately describe his skill set.
Marvelous?
Amazing?
Ridiculous?
All of the above?
The answer, of course, is ‘D.’”
Ulis has been a McDonald’s All American and Jordan Brand All American, along with fellow UK signees Karl Towns, Devin Booker and Trey Lyles. Regardless of whether UK point guard Andrew Harrison decides to return for his sophomore season, Ulis figures to play a major role for the Wildcats in 2014-15.
